IS THERE A DOCTOR IN THE HOUSE?
Exploring the Healing Power of Art

Great Lakes Theater presents a special, pre-show
discussion/performance event before The Imaginary Invalid.

CLEVELAND, OH (October 11, 2012) - Great Lakes Theater (GLT), Cleveland's Classic Company, will present an extraordinary pre-show discussion and performance event exploring the healing power of the arts and the connections that have been discovered between art and medicine, in conjunction with the company's production of Moliere's classic The Imaginary Invalid, at the Hanna Theatre, PlayhouseSquare on Saturday, October 27th. Commencing at 6:15 p.m. with a pre-show discussion featuring experts in the disciplines of Art Therapy, Neurology, Holistic Coaching and Dance in the Hanna Theatre's Salon, the event will culminate with a performance of Great Lakes Theater's main stage production of The Imaginary Invalid at 7:30 p.m. as part of GLT's Classics and Conversations audience engagement series.

Explore the healing power of art in an engaging pre-show discussion with Dr. Richard Ledermen, M.D., Ph.D., member of the Department of Neurology at the Cleveland Clinic and professor of Medicine at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine, Jennifer Schwarts Wright, Interim Director and Program Manager at Art Therapy Studios, Heidi M. Weiker, Holistic Coach and Co-Owner of Spherica LLC and Jessica Wallis, Founding Director of Ballet in Cleveland.
