 "Willy Wonka Jr! Comes Alive On The G. B. Stage



Kids of all ages have been gobbling up Willy Wonka's scrumdidilyumptious adventures since 1964, when author Roald Dahl's book "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" first appeared. Families can now see the show on stage as the Ashtabula Arts Center's G. B. Community Theatre presents ! "Willy Wonka Jr." for three more performances on October 12, 13, 14.  

 

The famous candy man promises a free tour of the Wonka factory, as well as a lifetime supply of candy to whomever finds a hidden golden ticket. And now moving from the page to the stage, this theatrical version of the show by kids and for kids will brings the beloved movie's characters, and songs, back to life. 

 

Following the performance on October 14th, both kids and parents can take a backstage tour and participate in "Trick or Treat with the Cast."  Tickets are $5 each and should be purchased in advance.

 

This production by kids and for kids will be performed on Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m. and Sundays at 2 p.m. Tickets are: Adults $14, Seniors/Students $12

or save $2 per ticket when you purchase tickets in advance.  Advance sales must be purchased prior to 4 p.m. on the day of the show or by 4 p.m. Saturday for Sunday performances. Special event pricing will save children ages 12 and under $1 off the student ticket price. Tickets can be purchased by visiting the Ashtabula Arts Center box office or by phone at (440) 964-3396.
