[NEohioPAL] Classical piano and poetry at Oct. 26 AHa! performance

Don't miss this!  The Westhuizen Duo -- classical pianists Pierre Van Der Westhuizen, executive director of the Cleveland International Piano Competition, and Sophia Van Der Westhuizen, piano teacher at the Cleveland Music School Settlement -- will perform highlights from their duet and two-piano repertoires, including pieces by Schubert, Brahms, Rachmaninoff and Debussy, on Friday, Oct. 26, at a handsome Shaker Heights home on West Park Boulevard. 
It's the Shaker Arts Council AHa! program's 10th Season Benefit, and the evening starts at 7 p.m. with hors d'oeuvres and beverages, followed by the readings of Take Nine, a group of noted local poets performing their own work. The Westhuizen Duo performs at 8 p.m.  
Tickets are $50 ($45 for Shaker Arts Council members). Tickets may be purchased by going to www.shakerartscouncil.org or by sending a check made out to Shaker Arts Council to PMB 232, 16781 Chagrin Blvd., Shaker Heights, OH 44120. The address of the venue will be given to ticket buyers prior to the performance date.
