TO CONDUCT CREATIVE ARTS WORKSHOPS AS PART OF A SON IS GIVEN A Son Is Given
(ASIG) is an original script and score written & directed by former R&B
Artist Myron (Myron Davis). It is set apart by its unique blend of modern
dance, drama, ballet, hip-hop and an original musical score that fuses the
many sounds of today’s urban cultures.
In conjunction with the production, New Community Bible Fellowship (NCBF)
is offering a series of educational workshops for students throughout
Northeast Ohio and those in the arts community. Dianne McIntyre will teach
a Master Class October 20th at PlayhouseSquare's Red Hall. In addition,
three additional workshops will be held; with Obie Shelton teaching Music
in the Arts; Nina Domingue, actor, director, teacher, and playwright will
teach Acting as a Career; and Rob Peck will teach Stage, Lighting and Set

Dianne McIntyre " One of modern dance’s reigning divas;" has performed and
choreographed an impressive amount of work in New York, Cleveland and
around the globe. Her choreography has appeared on the large and small
screens. Her credits include the feature film "Beloved" and For Colored
Girls Who Have Considered Suicide When the Rainbow is Enuf." In addition,
she received an Emmy nomination for her choreography in HBO's award-winning
"Miss Ever's Boys."
