You bet! What were *you *doing in 1976? Or... what *would* you have been
doing in 1976? A delightful blast-from-the-past is onstage at Ensemble
Theatre's brand new intimate Second Stage for a limited run November 1-3!
Escape the election madness and laugh till your side hurts!



*"Sexual Perversity in Chicago”*, an early work by award-winning playwright
(and author of "Glengarry Glen Ross") David Mamet, explores the intricacies
of human relationships and the oddly perverse actions we take in our
struggle to obtain happiness. In Mamet's famous vernacular you'll hear
words of wisdom from Bernie, who encourages his friend Dan not to "sell his
soul for … (you get the idea)". Joan advises Deborah that men are "all
after only one thing... but it's never the same thing."

Runtime: 75 minutes (no intermission)

"what is a sublimation of what... what signifies what" in the modern urban
jungle of bars, bedrooms, and porn theaters.
