ThePlayers Guild Theatre Seeks to Find Two Young Actors for the Roles of “TinyTim” and “Peter Cratchit” for the 31st Annual Production of ACHRISTMAS CAROL


CANTON,OH – The Players Guild Theatre, seeks two young male actors for featured rolesin the Guild’s musical adaptation of Charles Dickens’ beloved holiday classic,A CHRISTMAS CAROL.  For the role of TinyTim, the Players Guild is seeking a singer and actor who is age 7-10, and isapproximately 3-4 ft tall.  For the roleof Peter Cratchit, the Guild is seeking a boy who is 8-12 years old. 



Auditionsfor both roles will be held on Wednesday October 24th from 6:00 to 7:30 pm.  Those auditioning will need to be prepared tolearn a song selection from the show and read from the script.    Actors will not need to prepare their ownaudition song. Therehearsal schedule for all children will be 6 weeks long.   For the first four weeks, rehearsals will beconducted on Mondays, Tuesdays  andThursdays from 7:00 - 9:00 pm.   Thefinal two weeks of rehearsals will be held Monday through Friday from 7:00-10:00pm.  



ACHRISTMAS CAROL opens on Friday, November 30, 2012, and runs through December16, 2012, with performances at 8:00 pm on Friday, 2:00 and 8:00 pm on Saturdayand at 2:00 pm on Sunday.  Additionally,there will be four student matinee performances held on December, 4, 5, 11 and12, at 10:00 am.
