[NEohioPAL] "Spooktacular!" a family-friendly Halloween concert October 21

Lakeland presents "Spooktacular!", a family-friendly Halloween concert on 
Sunday, October 21 at 4 p.m. featuring the Lakeland Civic Chorus, Singing 
Lakers, and Madrigal Singers.

The entire chorus and instrumental backup ensemble will appear in costume!

Tickets are $7/ adults, $6/ seniors, and $2/children and students. 

Musical highlights include: 
• Music from the Broadway musicals “Phantom of the Opera,” “Sweeny Todd,” 
and “Wicked “
• Music from the “Pirates of the Caribbean “ soundtrack
• “Nights in White Satin” (theme from the film "Dark Shadows") 
• “This is Halloween,” medley of scary TV themes 
• Music from "Thriller"

Children who attend dressed in their Halloween best will receive candy 
treats at the door. Parents, friends, and family are welcome to wear their 
spookiest garb and join in the Halloween spirit. 

Civic Chorus Conductor Christopher Robinson leads the 80-voices-strong 
chorus that includes talented singers from Greater Cleveland. Robinson 
served as director of music and drama at the Foundation Academy in 
Jacksonville, Florida and the Kent Singers prior to coming to Lakeland. He 
earned his master's degree in music in orchestral and choral conducting 
and his bachelor's degree in music theory, voice performance and general 
music from Kent State University. He is also the music director at First 
Baptist Church in Canton.

Performance will be in the Dr. Wayne L. Rodehorst Performing Arts Center 
7700 Clocktower Drive, 44094. I-90 at Rt. 306 exit. Free Parking.
