SWING DANCING FOR BEGINNERS (JITTERBUG) (Adults and Children 10 years and older)

Join this class to learn the easiest form of partnered dancing—Jitterbug! In this class you will learn the basic footwork patterns, how to connect with a partner, and how to lead and follow a variety of fun and flashy spins and moves.

# Classes: 5, Length: 1 hr.
Time: 7:00 to 8:00 pm.
Date: Mondays, Nov 5 to Dec 3
Location: BCA dance studio

Course fee: Individual $50, Couple $80

INTERMEDIATE JITTERBUG (Adults and Children 10 years and older)

If you can do the triple step basic and turn or be turned while holding a simple conversation; then congratulations, you have just been promoted to Intermediate Jitterbug! In this class you will learn moves that will be sure to impress everyone on the dance floor and leave you feeling like the belle (or beau) of the ball.

# Classes: 5, Length: 1 hr.
Time: 8:00 to 9:00 pm.
Dates: Mondays, November 5 to December 3
Location: BCA dance studio

Course fee: Individual $50, Couple $80

LINDY FOR BEGINNERS (Adults and Children 10 years old or older)

Lindy Hop is the original form of swing dancing that evolved in Harlem, New York as a response to the creation of jazz music. In this class you will learn the swing out, circle, inside turn, and so much more. Becoming a Lindy dancer will bring you a sense of overwhelming euphoria and true connection to the music!

Length: 1 hr.
Time: 7:00 to 8:00
Date: Tuesdays, Nov 6 to Dec 4
Location: Brecksville Center for the Arts (downstairs)

INTERMEDIATE LINDY (Adults and Children 10 years and older)

In this 5 week session you will learn a fun variety of techniques, moves, and footwork and styling options that will be sure to keep you, your dance partner and anyone watching entertained for hours and hours!

Time: 8:00 to 9:00 pm
