The story of Maria and the Von Trapp children springs to life on the
TrueNorth stage this holiday season. When the postulant Maria appears to be
too high-spirited for religious life, she journeys off to become nanny to
the children of a widowed naval captain. Her energy and loving nature rub
off on the children and eventually win over the heart of Captain Von Trapp
as well. Featuring 'Do-Re-Mi', 'Climb Every Mountain', 'The Sound of Music'
and 'My Favorite Things', this Rodgers and Hammerstein musical has become
one of the most beloved shows of all time.
