ANNIE, the Musical

Description:

Caryl Crane Youth Theatre is seeking production staff for the spring 2013 musical production of ANNIE, directed by CCYT Artistic Director Brian Marshall. Rehearsals begin January 7, 2013, and the production opens February 1, 2013. 18 rehearsals. 10 performances through February 10, 2013.



Seeking the following positions:

Musical Director ($1,000)

                Attend 2-3 production meetings prior to rehearsals. Attend all scheduled rehearsals.

                Serve as musical director, vocal coach and show accompanist.

Choreographer ($600)

                Attend 2-3 production meetings prior to rehearsals. Attend all scheduled rehearsals (no               less than 10) and teach choreography for no less than 5 production numbers including

                Hard Knock Life, NYC, Easy Street, Never Fully Dressed, Hooverville, and be prepared    to assist in others, as needed.

Costume Designer ($400)

Attend 2-3 production meetings prior to rehearsals. Attend all scheduled rehearsals.      Pull, Coordinate, and create costumes for the 78 actors cast in the production. Stock                provided by CCYT, Firelands College and Mercury Summer Stock is available for use. Be available to attend at least 3 rehearsals (arranged in advance) for costume fittings.

                Attend final performance to assist with striking of costumes.



Production dates are scheduled for:

February 1, 2, 8 & 9 at 7:30 PM.

February 2, 3, 9, 10 at 2:00 PM

February 1 & 8 are tentatively scheduled for 10 AM student matinees.
