[NEohioPAL] Casting Call for short film called Poison

> Eppfilms is looking to cast for a short film called Poison That will be filmed between  February and March . The casting call is Thursday Jan. 10th from 1-3pm, open to all interested in auditioning. These are non union, non paying roles but credits will be given to all and a copy of the project.  The location of the casting call is below and also all roles currently open for auditioning for. > Casting Call location: Parma Heights (not Parma) branch of cuyahoga county library  in the main meeting auditorium (first meeting room on your left as you walk in the door. 6206 Pearl Rd, Parma Hts Ohio 44130
> Time: 1pm to 3pm (please come between those times, we will not take auditions after 3pm).

> Character for poison
> 
> Mother- black female or other minority who could resemble an african american female. Age 40 and up. She is a long time prostitute that hates life and ha s no love for her daughter. She shows no compassion just disdain for her life.
> 
> Matt- Black or White male. Age 21 to 25yrs old. Matt is Star's Male friend, who she finds attractive but they have never had anything past a casual sexual relationship.
> 
> Mya- Any race female. Age 20 to 25yrs old. Mya is Star's Best friend and also a prostitute. Mya enjoys what she does and is very skeptical about all people. 
> 
> Deacon- Black or White Male. Age 26 to 35 yrs old. The deacon is a man that takes his role in the church serious and his duties to the pastor. Even though he may seem interested in helping others his motives are far from that.
> 
> Pastor- Black Male. Age 30 to 40yrs old. The Pastor is a man who uses his position to garner what he wants rather good or bad and he usually gets what he wants.
> 
> The John- Any race male. Age 23 to 30 years old. This part is for scene 1, limited face/camera time very vulgar with his language and disrespectful to woman.
> 
> Poison is the story of a young female named Star that is trapped in the life of a prostitute and even though she was born into this life, she finds no joy or love with being a prostitute. When she is diagnosed with a terminal illness, Star decides to try to turn her life toward something more rewarding but she finds out quickly that those who are charged with the task of helping others don't always become the people worth looking to for help.
