Join us this Friday January 11th for a FREE spoken word concert by T.M.
Göttl as a part of the Noontime Concert Series sponsored by TrueNorth
Cultural Arts and Lorain County Metro Parks. T.M. won first place the first
time she competed in a poetry slam. In 2012, she was Northeast Ohio’s Grand
Slam Poetry Champion, and competed at National Poetry Slam in Charlotte,
NC. She has received awards including Wayne College Regional Writing
Awards, Franklin-Christoph Poetry Awards, Ohio Poetry Day awards, and has
been nominated for a Rhysling Award and a Pushcart Prize. She is the author
of "A Hurricane of Moths," "Angels and Copper," "Stretching the Window,"
and the forthcoming "Unclaimed Baggage and Tax-Free Weekends." She’s been
heard throughout Ohio and points beyond, at Chicago’s Vegan Mania, and on
91.3 WAPS The Summit and 89.7 WOSU radio. When she isn’t busy with poetry,
she spends her time cuddling chickens and working in the public library.

The Eight Note Cafe will be open for cookies, coffee, soda, and snacks.
