Cain Park will be producing the Grammy-winning musical revue, SMOKEY JOE’S CAFÉ, directed by Scott Plate this summer.

Leiber and Stoller, as much as anyone, virtually invented rock ‘n’ roll, and their songs provide the basis for an electrifying entertainment that illuminates a golden age of American culture. In an idealized ‘50s setting, the classic themes of love won, lost and imagined blend with hilarious set-pieces and slice-of-life emotions. Featuring nearly 40 of the greatest songs ever recorded, this Grammy-winning musical revue isn’t just great pop music – it’s compelling musical theater.

AUDITIONS at Cleveland Heights Community Center
Audition appointments will be accepted beginning February 5 (9am-5pm) by calling 216-291-2323. Audition details will follow in a subsequent email.

Wednesday, March 6 — 6-11pm EQUITY PRINCIPAL
   Non-Equity may audition on March 6 but no specific appointment time will be reserved.  Non-Equity should call and ask to be placed on a list of those who will be heard between Equity audition appointments

Saturday, March 9 — 11am-5pm EQUITY & NON-EQUITY

Sunday, March 10, 7-11pm CALLBACKS
   Singing, reading from the script, and movement
