Detective Hercule Poirot is on the case!

Coach House Theatre presents

Agatha Christie's

"Black Coffee"

Directed by Andrew Cruse

January 24-February 17, 2013

($12 Preview Performance, Thursday, Jan. 24 only!)

It's winter in Akron, and that's means it's time for a chilling and
thrilling murder mystery at Coach House Theatre from the Queen of Crime,
Agatha Christie!

Black Coffee features Detective Hercule Poirot, one of Agatha Christie's
most beloved and long-lived characters. When Sir Claude Amory is robbed of
his new invention (the formula for a weapon of mass destruction created by
splitting the atom) and then is poisoned with cyanide in his coffee (in a
locked room!), Poirot is called in to solve the case. Christie's first play,
written in 1930, Black Coffee has not been available for performance in the
United States in decades.

Christie's murder mysteries at Coach House have become a hugely popular
Akron tradition, and our four-week run will likely sell out quickly. So
please reserve your seats early!

Black Coffee will be presented January 24 to February 17. Curtain times are
Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m., with Sunday matinees at 2:30 p.m.
Dinner or Brunch is available to all theatre patrons prior to every
performance at the Akron Woman's City Club next door. (Reservations
required.)

There will be a special $12 preview performance Thursday, Jan. 24 only, at 8
p.m.

The official opening night is Friday, Jan. 25. Group rates are also
available.

Tickets are $18, with $12 student tickets available to all performances
(space available). The box office opens one hour before the show. Coach
House Theatre is located at 732 W. Exchange Street, in Akron, next to the
Akron Woman's City Club, and at the corner of W. Exchange and N. Portage
Path. Reservations are available through our box office at 330-434-7741, or
online at www.coachhousetheatre.com.

There Were None, Murder on the Nile, A Murder is Announced, and Appointment
with Death. Often referred to as the "Queen of Crime," Christie is
