AUDITION FORMAT:
The audition itself will be closed to the public. Those auditioning will be with others auditioning, the directing team, and a few high school cast members. Summary:
Matthew Cuthbert and his sister, Marilla, live at Green Gables. They agree to adopt a boy to help aging Matthew with the farm, but they get Anne by mistake! This new dramatization captures the charm and excitement of L.M. Montgomery’s enduring classic of one of literature’s most unforgettable characters. Come adopt Anne’s whimsical ways! This play takes place in the late 1800s/early 1900s so you will need to read with very proper, formal diction. Manners are of an essence during this time and you need to show that with your mannerisms and especially in your facial expressions. The setting is in Avonlea and other locations on Prince Edward Island, Canada.
