The Vagina Monologues are coming to Baldwin Wallace University for the second year, produced by BW's Theatre Arts and Performance in conjunction with V-Day, a global activist movement to end violence against women and girls. This year we are raising money for Cleveland Rape Crisis Center. "The award-winning play is based on V-Day Founder/playwright Eve Ensler's interviews with more than 200 women. With humor and grace the piece celebrates women's sexuality and strength. V-Day generates broader attention for the fight to stop violence against women and girls, including rape, battery, incest, female genital mutilation, and sex slavery. Through this play and the liberation of this one word, countless women throughout the world have taken control of their bodies and their lives." Visit www.vday.com for more information.
