CASTING NOTICE FOR A SHORT STUDENT FILM
SHOOTING IN CANTON, OH

“WOODEN DRAWERS”

Cyclical Phenomenon Productions is casting for the following roles:

William: LEAD— William is merely hours away from his wedding ceremony. He is having cold feet and his family tries to convince him that he is making the right decision. He goes through with it but there is a slight twist at the end—the bride is not what we expected.

	* White male, approximately 23, average height, average build.
	* Will be working in a tuxedo
John: William’s brother and best man. A bit of a hot head with a slight alcohol dependency, but he means well and wants to see his brother happy. Tries to convince William that he is making the right decision.

	* White male, approximately 25, average height, no specific build.
	* Will be working in a tuxedo.
Karren: Mother of William and John, and wife of Walter. She is slightly neurotic and compulsive. She has no idea that William has “cold feet.”

	* White female, approximately 45, no specific height or weight.
	* Actor will need to provide own formal wear.
Walter: Father of William and John, and husband of Karren. He tries to convince William that he is making the right decision the best way that he knows how—awkwardly. 

	* White male, approximately 45, no specific height or weight.
	* Actor will need to provide own formal wear. A suit and tie is preferred.
Wedding Planner: Minor role with only a few lines.

	* Not race, height, or build specific.
	* Actor will need to provide own formal wear. 
Pastor: Minor role with a single line.

	* White, middle-age male.
	* Pastoral garb will be provided.
