Black Tie

THE STORY:
A Buffalo-born ad exec finds himself with his wife at a rundown 
Adirondacks resort hotel, dressing, the night before his son's wedding, for 
dinner with the bridal party. From the utterly trivial issue of whether or not 
he should wear his tux for this occasion, and the even more trivial one of 
whether it should be called the "rehearsal dinner" or the "bridal dinner," 
Gurney spins a diverting, ruefully amiable tapestry of marital modes and mores 
then and now, with neatly spaced intrusions by the couple's son, daughter, and, 
most frequently, the ghost of the tux's previous owner, the hero's dad. *contains adult language

Curtis, middle-aged
Curtis's father, older
Teddy, Curtis's son, in his twenties to mid-thirties

Mimi, Curtis's wife, middle-aged
Elsie, Curits's daughter, in her twenties to mid-thirties
GENERAL INFORMATION:
Audition Dates:  Monday, February 4 & Tuesday, February 5 at 7:30pm.  Auditions will be held at Clague Playhouse, 1371 Clague Road, Westlake.

Please bring an audition photo and résumé. 
 
Production Dates: May 3-26, 2013 on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 8:00pm and Sundays at 2:00pm.
