*Scared Scriptless - Adult Improvisation Workshop (Ages 16 and up)*

This class began on the night of Monday, February 4, but we are still
accepting registrations for those who were unable to attend that night or
wish to begin with the second session.  *A discounted, prorated fee of
$130*is available for anyone who wants to join the class begin Monday,
February
11.

This class serves as an introduction to basic improvisational techniques
geared towards both scripted and non-scripted work. This will include
Spolin Theater Game Work, Keith Johnston Techniques, Short-Form & Long-Form
structures, Improvisational Scene Work, and other techniques. Focuses
include spontaneity, teamwork, risk-taking, and using our natural senses of
humor to create a sense of play in a comfortable, fun environment!

*About Marc Moritz, Instructor*
Marc Moritz originated the role of Talk Show Host in the Broadway
production of the Sondheim/Prince musical *Merrily We Roll Along* – Moritz
can be heard on the original cast recording. Local acting credits include
Porthouse Theatre, Cain Park, and Great Lakes Theater/Idaho Shakespeare
Festival.  He has directed at The Weathervane Playhouse, TrueNorth Theatre,
and the Dobama Theatre. Moritz was founding director of Cleveland-based
Giant Portions Improv Company. His training includes a Master of Fine Arts
from Kent State University, stints at ImprovOlympic, and extensive
workshops with Paul Sills, Del Close, and Charna Halpern. He has appeared
in numerous television and radio commercials and is currently appearing as
Sidney Redlich in *Bell, Book, and Candle *at The Cleveland Playhouse.

All classes take place at the Broadview Heights Cultural Arts Building,
9543 Broadview Road, Broadview Heights, OH  44147, located on the Broadview
Center Property next to the police station.
