[NEohioPAL] Auditions for "The Fantasticks" - Brecksville Little Theatre

Brecksville Little Theatre is pleased to be presenting "The Fantasticks" by Tom Jones and Harvey Schmidt as its upcoming spring show.  

Auditions will be held: 
February 17 at 7:30 pm
February 19 at 7:30 pm

Audition Place: 
Blossom Hill School, 4450 Oakes Road, Brecksville, OH 44141, Building 3 - look for the Brecksville Little Theatre banner on the building.

Audition Instructions:
Prepare a song and bring sheet music for piano accompaniment.  You may also be taught a brief music selection from the show.  
Actors need not prepare a monologue, as they will be asked to read from the script.
Those auditioning for the part of the Mute should prepare a pantomyme of no longer than one minute.   

A Cast of 8 includes: 
The Boy - Matt (Tenor - strong voice) - Matt is 19 in the script 
The Girl - Luisa (Soprano - strong voice) - Luisa is 16 in the script
The Narrator - El Gallo (Baritone - strong voice)  
The Boys' Father - Hucklebee (Baritone range)
The Girl's Father - Bellomy (Baritone range)
The Old Actor - Henry 
The Actor's Sidekick - Mortimer (Cockney Accent)
The Mute (Male or Female) 
 
Stage Director - Frank Wilson
Music Director - Gail Wirick
Producers - Ruth Wheaton and Bob Rauch
