Fairmount Theatre Academy
(Formerly Fairmount Performing Arts Conservatory)
 
 
 
Fairmount Center for the Arts is proud to introduce our new theatre and music
camp for grades 6 - 12. Fairmount Center for the Arts, a 43-year-old community art
institution dedicated to arts learning for people of all ages and abilities,
has produced Broadway stars, noteworthy writers, award-winning technical
theatre people, and more during its three generations. Fairmount has affiliated with The Academy for the Performing
Arts to create a brand new performing arts camp
that not only provides young theatre students with some of the finest
professional training in Ohio, taught by the faculty and staff of Fairmount and the Academy,
but also offers students a mini-Academy experience for those wishing to attend
the Academy college prep program full time during the school year. Formerly
knows as FPAC, and under the new direction of Dusten Welch, FTA's fun, new
summer camp now operates out of the state of the art facilities at Chagrin Falls
Performing Arts Center in Chagrin Falls.

Get the ball rolling on yoursummer plansby attending our first FTA Reception on Saturday, February 23 at 6:00 pm.Find out first hand what our summer productions will be, and learn all about the camp itself as you meet with FTA's Director, Dusten Welch. Food, drinks (wine for 21+), and enter our Grand Prize Raffle to win an entirely FREE session to one of FTA's new and exciting summer workshops!

Mayfield Village Civic Center, 6622 Wilson Mills Road, Mayfield Ohio 44143.


Tickets are only $25, and include food and drink, plus free admission to Fairmount's Cabaret Extravaganza directly following the reception!

this summer to maximize students’ learning experience: 


Professional Training
Workshop (PTW)                                                           

This intense program gives students
the unique opportunity to learn with some of the region’s best acting
instructors and professionals, as they mount a full length musical production
in only three weeks!

                   Session One: (3-week sessions)

Theatre Concepts Workshop (TCW)                                                                          
 
While learning with some of the region’s most renowned
theatre professionals, these fun and exciting 2-week programs give students
the opportunity to discover the many creative
elements that make up the theatre world! Each session focuses on the core skills of being an actor, while specialized
and approachable master classes help sculpt the emphasis of each session.
