Meet the instructor:
TREVOR SONES 
Born and raised in Clearfield, PA, Trevor began studying dance when he was 15 years old. Trevor continued his dance training at Mercyhurst University in Erie, PA  concentrating on classical ballet.  While at Mercyhurst, he had the opportunity to study under several accomplished teachers in ballet, modern, jazz, hip-hop, musical theater, and tap. Additionally, he was fortunate enough to work with several world renown choreographers such as Bruce Marks, Rasta Thomas, Bill Evans, Laura Alonzo, and Diego Salterini. Before his Senior year, he studied at Broadway Dance Center in New York City with several acclaimed teachers in the dance industry. While studying in New York City, he booked a commercial and was a featured extra in the movie “Step Up 3D”. Once he graduated from Mercyhurst University, he began his professional career performing in the National Tour of CATS all over North America and Canada. Most recently he was seen portraying the role of "Brad" in Hairspray the Musical on board the world’s largest cruise ship; Royal Caribbean's Oasis of the Seas. Other favorite regional credits include 
"Bye Bye Birdie", "Thoroughly Modern Millie", "The Producers", and "Chicago".
