Mercury Summer Stock is now accepting audition appointments and applications for TeenStock 2013 featuring the musical: 13!

Explore all aspects of the theatre with other teens who love the stage as much as you do! Mercury Summer Stock's TeenStock is the arts camp that is more than a traditional summer camp. Designed for students 13-19, the program is a comprehensive, one-week intensive July 8 through July 13, 2013, in which students get a chance to hone their skills in a fast-paced, creative environment.

Our curriculum focuses on producing all aspects of a full-length musical. This season will feature the family-friendly musical, 13. Our students will be involved in, and explore every facet of, creating a first-class musical production, summer stock style. The students will get to participate and perform in 4 performances of their completed show at Regina Hall. 

Each student will not only STAR onstage in the production, but also will also contribute to the direction, choreography, set, lighting and costume design of the production. Students will be assigned a mentor from the Mercury Summer Stock 2013 Staff and will work as assistants on a specific "behind-the-scenes" area of their interest.

TeenStock is designed to instill in aspiring thespians a deeper understanding about producing and participating in a first-class musical with working professionals.

Tuition for TeenStock is $125.00 and space is limited to 30 total participants. The fee includes the week-long camp along with FREE Teen Night tickets to each of the mainstage shows of the season (Shrek, Ragtime and Peter Pan) and includes pizza parties and their very own TeenStock T-shirt.

All interested campers must audition for placement. An informational meeting and open auditions will be held Sunday March 3 at 12 PM in the PAC of the Administration Building of Notre Dame College.
