Oberlin Summer Theater Festival 2013 – Auditions

The Oberlin Summer Theater Festival is auditioning actors for a limited
number of roles in its 2013 rep season:
“Diary of Anne Frank” directed by Cat Miller – rehearsals begin May 28,
show opens June 28 and closes August 2 – 10 weeks total / 14 performances.
“Twelfth Night” directed by OSTF’s Artistic Director, Paul Moser –
rehearsals begin June 4, show opens July 5 and closes August 3 – 9 weeks
total / 13 performances.
Moss Hart’s “Light up the Sky” directed by OSTF’s Artistic Director, Paul
Moser – rehearsals begin June 11, show opens July 12 and closes August 3 –
8 weeks total / 11 performances.

Most roles have already been cast by returning company members.
We are interested in seeing actors for: Mr Dussel, and Mr Van Daan in
“Diary” (both middle aged men, AEA or non-equity); Irene Livingston in
“Light up the Sky” (30 to 40 range, AEA or non-equity); African-American
actors (22 to 30, non-equity only) for the role of Sebastian in “Twelfth
Night”, and older non-equity character men for “Twelfth Night”, for roles
of Fabian, Andrew Aguecheek, Feste and Sea Captain.

All actors are paid weekly. AEA members are hired under Special Appearance,
Level 2, contract. Because all three shows rehearse and perform in rotating
repertory, actors must have a flexible schedule.

Auditions: Friday, March 1 4:30 – 6:30, and Saturday, March 2 10am to 2pm.
Warner Center (Oberlin College), Professor St., Oberlin OH.
For an appointment please call: 440-775-8151 or email pmoser at oberlin.edu
(Indicate whether you are Equity or non-equity when you call.)
Please note, we are not seeing children, students, or untrained actors at
this time.
