*Class Descriptions:*

*Pre-school Classes (Ages 3-5):*

10:00am-11:00am

*Once Upon a Time There Was…*

Through puppetry, voice, storytelling, games and movement, children explore
their imaginations to create characters who tell a story—allowing each
child’s creativity to soar while teaching listening, teamwork,
self-confidence, and constructive play.

* *

*Kids  (Ages 6-10):*

10:00am-1:00pm

*Improv: A Sense of Play*

Through Improvisational games and practice, students learn how to develop
characters, play well with others onstage, and give gifts for better scenes.

*The Art of Moving*

Students discover how to move their bodies and act out exciting stories
without using words, all the while finding the sense of play in stage
movement.

* ****Creative Storytelling*

Through theatre games, exercises, puppets and character focus, students
work together to tell a story as a troupe. Creativity soars while learning
and refining individual confidence and group cooperation.

*Early Teens (Ages 11-14):*

10:00am-1:00pm

*Move Your Body*

Rooted in various types of physical movement that apply to any style of
acting, this class teaches students to use their entire body to loosen up
and have fun acting.

*Different People, Different Show*

Through theatre games, exercises, puppets and creative storytelling,
students explore how creating different characters will change the style
and presentation of a story.

*Improvisation: And you are…?*

Through games, scene-building, and creative technique, students learn the
basics of improvisational character-work. These created characters will
work together to become a “troupe” that tells a story through improv.
