Filarets Choir was formed in 1952. Filarets is one of the best known Polish choirs in the
United States. Having toured and performed at numerous venues and events, the ensemble has
won numerous awards. In May 2010, the Polish Singers Alliance of America 49th International
Convention was hosted by District IX in Buffalo, NY. The Filarets, under the direction of Dr.Troiano, placed second in the competition.


About the Director: Dr. David Troiano, Tenor Soloist, Organist and Choral Director is of Polish-Italian descent. He earned the Doctorate of Musical Arts from the University of Michigan.
