Models needed for 2013 Cleveland Asian Festival

The 2013 Cleveland Asian Festival will be organizing a Fashion Exhibition
to feature traditional and historical clothing of Asian cultures.  We are
looking for models to volunteer wearing these fashions.   There is no
height or age limitation.  All volunteers must be in attendance to a
volunteer orientation seminar held in early May (dates to be announced
early April).  You will need to be sized during this orientation meeting to
see if any on hand clothing will fit you.  If you have any traditional
Asian clothing of your own, you may be allowed to wear it if it passes a
review by the Performance Committee.

The Cleveland Asian Festival will take place on May 18 & 19 at 2999 Payne
Ave, Cleveland, OH 44114.  At the festival, models will check in with a
Fashion Exhibition coordinator.  There will be a dressing room provided and
all volunteer models must be dressed and ready 30 minutes prior to going on
stage.  Models will be required to do a walk and display fashions on a
20x24 feet stage.  This will take approximately 30 minutes total (30
seconds per fashion).  Models will then be required to walk around the
Cleveland Asian Festival in traditional wear posing in photos with festival
goers.  Models will also be given an information card to carry with them
which will explain the clothing that they are wearing.  Models should be
able to explain the outfit they are wearing to anyone who asks.
