JOB OPENING

Rental Shop Manager - Memphis, Tennessee

 

MainStage has a job opening for a full time Rental Shop Manager at our
Memphis, Tennessee location. Is responsible for getting equipment where
it is supposed to be when it is supposed to be there. Supervise in-shop
crews, training in shop methods. Assist with pulling/testing of
equipment and accurate and timely receiving/return of all orders.
Facilitate interoffice bi-weekly transfers (will be auxiliary driver).
Maintain accurate paperwork, inventory of all rental shop and equipment
vehicle fleet (Memphis). May provide limited inside sales.  

 

Qualified candidates must have two years practical experience with
theatrical lighting, especially fixtures and portable dimming systems
(basic rigging and carpentry skills are helpful). A BA or BFA preferred.
Touring or "road house" experience is desirable. Must have good
interpersonal communication skills (both written and verbal), highly
organized and detail oriented. A valid driver's license and a good
driving record are required.
