        RED COMPANY REAL.EDGE.DANCE, AKRON'S PROFESSIONAL MODERN DANCE COMPANY, OFFERS SUMMER DANCE INTENSIVE 

                                                                                    JUNE 4-6, 2013 AND SCHOLARSHIP AUDITION APRIL 7, 2013



RED Company real.edge.dance is excited to announce a summer dance intensive June 4-6, 2013 to the community. The summer dance intensive will offer one hour technique classes in all styles of dance.  Participants will be able to purchase individual classes and/or sign up for one or all three days. 



                                                                                                                                                    Tuition rates: 

                                                                                                         $15.00 per class/ $27.00 for 2 classes/ $34.00 for 3 classes

                                                                                                                                        One Day $50.00 (4 classes)

                                                                                                                                        Two Days $100.00 (8 classes)

                                                                                                                                        Three Days $140.00 (12 classes)



*Each day registration 3:30-4:00 pm*



Day One June 4th

4:00-5:00 Contemporary or Jazz Funk/Music Video

5:00-6:00 Hip-Hop/Breaking or Improv

6:00-7:00 Modern or Hip-Hop

7:00-8:00 Contemporary Jazz or Musical Theater Jazz



Day Two June 5th

4:00-5:00 Modern or Hip-Hop

5:00-6:00 Ballet or Rhythm Tap

6:00-7:00 Contemporary or Pilates

7:00-8:00 Jumps/Leaps/Turns or Partnering



Day Three June 6th

4:00-5:00 Ballet or Musical Theater Tap

5:00-6:00 Jumps/Leaps/Turns or Improv

6:00-7:00 Jazz or Pilates

7:00-8:00 Modern or Jazz Funk/Music Video



                                                                                    Early registration is encouraged by May 15th 2013

                                                  (Participants can reserve or "walk-in" all classes. Early registration will reserve chosen classes)



Where:  studios of Martell School of Dance (788 West Market Street, Akron, Ohio)

 *Minimum age for participation 13 years old.





                                                                                                       RED SCHOLARSHIP AUDITION FOR SUMMER DANCE INTENSIVE


                                        RED is looking to award a full scholarship to a dancer who shows passion, energy, and commitment to the art of dance. 



                                                                                                                                            When: April 7, 2013 

                                                                                                                                            Time: 3:00-4:00 pm 

                                                                          (2:30 pm registration begins: $10.00 registration fee, headshot/dance photo, resume of dance training/experience)

                                                                                                        Audition will consist of short, multiple dance phrases in different styles.

                                                                                                                                    *Minimum age 13 years old.
