Prepare to fall in love with

"Sea Marks" at Coach House Theatre

March 14-April 7, 2013

$12 Preview Performance, Thursday, March 14 only!

(No shows on Easter weekend, March 28-31)

Coach House Theatre, "Akron's hidden gem," proudly presents Sea Marks, an
emotional and eloquent love story by Gardner McKay, from March 14 to April
7.

In this rarely-produced play, a fisherman (Coach House Artistic Director
Terry Burgler) living on a remote Irish island falls in love with a woman
he's glimpsed only once (Tracee Patterson, who last appeared at Coach House
in 2011's Lettice and Lovage, for which she won the Royal Coach Award for
Best Actress). Unschooled in letter writing, but with the heart of a poet,
he courts her by mail, despite the impossibilities of distance and
lifestyle.

Sea Marks will be presented March 14 to April 7. Curtain times are Thursday,
Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m., with Sunday matinees at 2:30 p.m. Dinner or
Brunch are available to all theatre patrons prior to every performance at
the Akron Woman's City Club, next door (reservations required,
330-762-6261).

There will be a special $12 preview performance Thursday, March 14 only, at
8 p.m. There are no shows on Easter weekend, March 28-31.

The official opening night is Friday, March 15, with an (optional) opening
night dinner party at the Club prior.

Tickets are $18. The box office opens one hour before the show. Coach House
Theatre is located at 732 W. Exchange Street, in Akron, next to the Akron
Woman's City Club, and at the corner of W. Exchange and N. Portage Path.
Tickets may be purchased by calling our box office at 330-434-7741, or at
www.coachhousetheatre.com.
