SUMMER

Smoke Ring

Written by Gregory J. Lavelle

Synopsis: It ain't all that serious. It's just the end of the world.
Scientists manning the most powerful telescope in the world and the most
powerful computer in the world, the LCC (liquid crystal computer) which they
nickname "Elsie", discover a gigantic void in space heading directly toward
Earth. Elsie, a bit of an idiot savant, responds technically and literally
to all questions to the frustration of the scientists. Amidst the frantic
comedy is a look at how humanity as a whole and how individuals may come to
deal with the end of the world.

EARLY FALL 2013

Eubank

Written by William Royse and directed by Jeffrey Campbell
A fun-filled mischievous financial romp with original music by Jeffrey
Campbell and William Royse.

Synopsis: Oh yes, life DID exist prior to the computer age. You may ask how
in the world did people function without PCs, Cell Phones, Fax Machines,
DVDs, Digital Cameras, VCRs, HDTVs, ATMs, Video Games, TIVOs, IPhones,
IPads, etc.

Well, at last report they seemed to survive...you might even say THRIVE in
the "prehistoric" days some 60+ years ago. Though the electronic inventions
have made communication instant, have they really made life more warm and
sincere? Let us choose the year 1951 and a small town in Iowa for our
little musical. Have fun depicting just how exciting little things and
events could seem before this cruel, complicated world was totally exposed
by Cable TV and the other aforementioned electronic gadgets of the 2000s.

We focus on the banking "enterprise" in EUBANK...a bank run with not too
much efficiency but it's "the only game in town". The folks there are kind,
simple and for the most part, over trust-worthy. Lessons are learned from
what transpires in this goofy yet charming town of EUBANK...

Sept. 13-15, Sept 20-22 and Sept. 27-29

Fri. and Sat. 8:00 p.m., Sun. 3:00 p.m.

LATE FALL 2013

Stories from the House of Usher

Written by Edgar Allan Poe; Adapted and directed by Todd Evangelista

Synopsis: A legacy of blood and revenge is in the very stones of the
unfortunate House of Usher. A crack in the foundation starts to form in the
"Cask of Amontillado" growing wider in "The Tell-Tale Heart" and culminating
in "The Fall of the House of Usher" which will bring the house down.

Nov. 8-10, Nov. 15-17 and Nov. 22-24

Fri. and Sat. 8:00 p.m., Sun. 6:00 p.m.

WINTER 2013

Santa.org

Written and directed by Greg Lavelle

and technology? Chaos and confusion, laughs for kids and hilarity for
adults as Santa, an elf named Elfvis and an elfish politician strive to save
Christmas. You and your children will laugh (at different times) as
Santa.Org plays on two levels of holiday fun.
