Cleveland Shakespeare Festival is seeking a stage manager for the 2013 Summer Season:

The Stage manager will work with the Production Manager, another stage manager and two production assistants in the execution of two shows presented in rep; Two Gentlemen of Verona, and Measure for Measure. These plays will be preformed at multiple outdoor venues throughout the greater Cleveland area this summer. Interested applicants must be available for evening and weekend hours. Applicants should be highly organized and detail oriented.

There is a modest stipend for this position.

Rehearsals will begin in April and performance dates are June 14th through August 4th.

The Cleveland Shakespeare Festival is dedicated to bringing

Cleveland area as a way of encouraging community through

theater. By performing out of doors in numerous locations,

we reach audience members that would be less likely to

travel to a downtown theater or may be uncomfortable in a

more traditional theater setting. Making these performances

available free of charge brings to those who could not

ordinarily afford the price of a theater ticket, the

experience of audience and actor communing through the

contemporary performance of classic literature.
