SPOTLIGHTS THEATER PRESENTS 
“PILOTS OF THE PURPLE TWILIGHT” – a comedic drama set on the Titanic
 
The Broadview Heights Spotlights Community Theater will be presenting“Pilots of 
the Purple Twilight”, a comedic drama set in the first class smoking lounge of 
the Titanic on the evening of its demise.  The show opens on the 101st 
anniversary weekend of the ship’s final night.  It runs from April 12 to April 
27 – Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30PM.  There will be a matinee on Sunday, April 
21 at 3PM.  Opening night guests will be treated to an Hors d’oeuvres Reception 
during intermission. 

 
All shows will be held at the Cultural Arts Building on the Broadview Center 
campus, 9543 Broadview Road, Broadview Heights , OH 44147 (behind the Police 
Station). Tickets are $11 for adults and $10 for seniors and students.

NEW THIS YEAR!  The Spotlights will be hosting a Dinner Theater on Saturday, 
April 13, just prior to the play. There will be a full-course, catered dinner in 
the “First Class Dining Saloon of the Titanic.  Mingle with “the unsinkable 
Molly Brown” and other crew members.  Guests may bring a bottle of wine to enjoy 
with their dinner and are encouraged to dress for the occasion and the period. 
 The cost is $28 per person ($25 per person for tables of 6) and includes a 
two-entrée dinner, bread, salad, coffee/pop, dessert during intermission, 
gratuity, and admission to the show.  Dinners must be paid in advance by April

The show is written by Steve Kluger, directed by Brian Westerley and produced 
through special arrangement with Samuel French, Inc.
