LCCC Theatre presents 'ART: the act of creation'

 

Join the Lorain County Community College Theatre department for a
compelling evening of three one-act plays about the struggle of finding
the creative voice.

 

"ART: the act of creation" will be performed at 8 p.m., Thursday-Sunday,
April 11-13 at LCCC's Stocker Arts Center. Tickets are $8 for adults and
$7 for students and staff. Tickets can be ordered online at 
www.stockerartscenter.com <http://www.stockerartscenter.com>  or by
calling the Stocker Arts Center box office at (440) 366-4040 from 12-6
p.m., Monday through Friday. Tickets are also available at the box
office, located in the lobby of the Stocker Arts Center.

 

Three one-act plays will be performed: "Masterpiece" by Nathan Metcalf,
"A Flock of Seagulls" by Stuart Hoffman, and "Another Lonely Midnight in
the Life of the Tortured Poet" by Jonathan Wilhelm. These short works
explore the acts of writing, theatre and art in poignant, hilarious, and
thought-provoking ways.
