CLEVELAND CITY DANCE COMPANY AUDITION
 
(Cleveland, OH) – The Cleveland
City Dance Company will be holding its annual audition on Sunday April 21th from 1:00pm-3:00pm.  The City Ballet of
Cleveland (CBC), formerly Cleveland City Dance Company, audition is open to all
serious dancers of ballet ages 10-21.  The company has two annual performances including the Spring repertoire
and December “Nutcracker”, as well as performances at All Ohio Dance Festival,
Regional Dance America, and local schools. Applications are available upon
request at the Front Desk and online at www.clevelandcitydancecompany.org  under Company information. Potential dancers
do not have to be students at Cleveland City Dance
 
The audition class will be taught
by the Company Artistic and Executive Director, Courtney J. Laves-Mearini and
judged by a professional dancer not affiliated with the Company.  Previous judges have been Jennifer Safonovs
formerly of NEOS Dance Theater and Samantha Basford formerly of the Miami City
Ballet and Brian Murphy of the Verb Ballets.  This year Samantha Basford will return.
