Audiences were delighted last week at the opening of *The Musical
Adventures of Flat Stanley*, part of the Family Life Series at TrueNorth.
Stanley Lambchop is your ordinary, everyday, run of the mill ten year
old--and that's just the problem. For Stanley, life is too normal. Then one
night the bulletin board on the wall above his bed comes loose and falls
right on top of him. The next morning Stanley wakes up flat--really flat!
In this whirlwind of a musical Stanley searches all around the globe for a
solution to his unusual problem. Follow Stanley on his adventures from
Hollywood to France to Honolulu and beyond, as he closes in on his goal of
being a three-dimensional boy once more.



Based on the popular children's book by Jeff Brown, this production is
directed & choreographed by Brian Bowers with musical direction by Mary

The final performances are this weekend: Friday April 12th at 6:30pm,
Saturday April 13th at 3:00pm and 6:30pm, and Sunday April 14th at 3:00pm.

Make your own Flat Stanley on Friday from 5:30-6:30pm, Saturday from
4:15-6:30pm, or Sunday from 2:00-3:00pm. Meet Cultural Arts programmer Bill
Reichert in the French Creek Nature & Arts Center Classroom for this free
program. Keep one Flat Stanley for yourself, and make another to send to a
child in need at Rainbow Babies & Children's Hospital. You can also help us
to find Flat Stanley for a special scavenger hunt during regular building
hours of 10:00am-4:30pm seven days a week. Find the 10 Flat Stanley's
hidden around the building and collect a special prize! Pick up your
scavenger hunt sheet at the Front Desk/Box Office.
