Avatar Management Services will be holding casting sessions on Friday, April 26th and Saturday April 27th from noon till 4pm for a variety of roles in an upcoming project to teach Safe Driving Principles to Truck Drivers. The characters we're looking for are listed below. Sides for each character will be provided at the sessions. This is an open call for paid non-union roles.  Contact Bill Johns (bjohns at avatarms.com) or Matt Pallotta (mpallotta at avatarms.com) for more info.

The Major: Male, 50s. A truck driver. Military Reserves, patriotic, All-American, clean-cut. He is a natural leader. His skills and experience make him the best at what he does, but you’ll never hear him brag or talk down to anyone. He has respect for the responsibilities of safe commercial driving.

The Turtle: Male, 40s-60s, larger, burly man. A truck driver by occupation, a competitive eater by hobby. The slow and steady winner. He believes success comes from pacing one’s self. Loves food, loves driving trucks, loves his mama.

Wheels: Female, 20s-30s. Confident, fit, attractive, tough. Quick wit, quick decisions. An EMT who loves kick-boxing and NASCAR. She can drink beer with the best of the guys, but still prefers to go out for cosmos with her girlfriends.

Doc: Male, African-American, 30s-40s. Fit. Marathon runner, mountain-climber, an extreme sports guru. He’s been injured enough times to learn sports medicine first-hand. He makes his money by driving trucks, but he’s fascinated by the human machine.

Einstein: Male, 40s-60s. His background information is classified by the government. No one is entirely sure where he came from or what he does for a living. Secretive. He is a physics and overall science nut. The indoorsy type. He’s far more savvy with the dynamics of velocity and kinetic energy than with social norms and pop culture.

Avatar Management Services has been a leader in employee performance enhancement for nearly 20 years and continues to improve the recruitment, training and safety awareness processes for the transportation industry.
