On Saturday, April 20th, the event “Art for Autism” took place at Mentor
High School. This event sought to raise funds for Mentor’s C.A.R.E.
(Cardinal Adult Readiness Education) Lab -- a transition program for
adult-aged high school students with complex disabilities to prepare them
for independence in everyday life. 4D-IE (Interactive Education) had
provided many unique artistic booths to entertain guests. Also, throughout
the day many local performance artists shared their talents to the cause.
In addition, some local businesses and organizations made donations. The
event more than doubled it’s goal for funds raised.

For more information on the event, feel free to check the event planner’s
site:

The event was filmed in hopes of creating a highlight video. This video
will be used to showcase the fundraiser and possibly promote it for future
years.

In hopes of carrying on with the local performing acts, we wanted to use
some local talent for the music for the highlight video.

We are looking for upbeat and/or calming music, preferably with a bit of
electronics. The music needs to be either not copywritten, or the rights
to them must be free, and by sending us your work, you are allowing it to
be included in this video, and distributed online or otherwise. You will
of course be credited for your work.

Please, help submit your work for this great cause. Keep in mind, the
distribution of this video might also bring more traffic to your talents as
well.

All submissions are needed as soon as possible, as the video needs to be
completed within the next week and a half.
