MARK YOUR CALENDAR FOR MAY 13TH AND 14TH
Looking for a cast and crew for the world premiere of a comedy, Smoke Ring.
Cast and crew will receive compensation in the form of free legal services
and royalty share if the play is licensed for future performances. All
roles are open. Please bring a head shot and resume and be prepared to read
from script. If you want sides emailed to you in advance, please request
via the email listed below.
SYNOPSIS:
It ain't all that serious. It's just the end of the world. Scientists
manning the most powerful computer in the world, the LCC (Liquid Crystal
Computer) which they nickname "Elsie" discover a gigantic void in space
heading directly toward Earth. Elsie, a bit of an idiot savant, responds
technically and literally to all questions to the frustration of the
scientists. Amidst the frantic comedy is a look at how the world and
individuals may come to deal with the end of the world.
Auditions will be held: May 13th and 14th at 7:00 p.m.
At the Old Town Hall in North Olmsted
