WEATHERVANE PLAYHOUSE in Akron will hold AUDITIONS on Sunday, June 9 and 
Monday, June 10 for its January 2014 production of Anton Chekhov's classic 
drama, "Uncle Vanya."

AUDITION DATES AND TIMES
Sunday, June 9, 2013 -- beginning at 1:30 p.m.
Monday, June 10, 2013 -- beginning at 7 p.m.

CASTING REQUIREMENTS
Director BOB BELFANCE seeks FIVE adult men and FOUR adult women -- roughly, 
between the ages of 20s to 70s.

All the roles in the play are wonderfully rich character studies. Younger 
women ages 27 to 40 have two especially wonderful roles available (Yelena 
and Sonya).

This production will play from January 9 to 25, 2014, in Weathervane's John 
L. Dietz Theater (the Playhouse's intimate, 50-seat "second stage").

AUDITION REQUIREMENTS
Please prepare one short dramatic monologue to present as your audition 
piece.
