Local Film Slated for Production this Summer and Seeking Support
 
With blockbusters like “The Avengers” filming in Cleveland, Ohio is quickly becoming a destination for filmmakers.  Inspired by his hometown of Lancaster, Ohio filmmaker Kyle Forquer, has written an original screenplay entitled “The Bakery Boys of Fairfield County”, which will be produced and filmed in Ohio.  
 
The short film centers around the conflict of sibling rivalry between brothers and co-workers Josh and Remy.  After Remy declines a party invitation from love interest Aubrey at work, his life’s delicate equilibrium is disrupted. Pushed to his limit, Remy maliciously enacts revenge against Josh during a pickup baseball game.
The production crew and partial cast has already been assembled.  Forquer will serve as both Director and Producer, while his fellow Wright State University Film School alum, Zachary Severt and Cole Pisano, will serve as Story Consultant and Cinematographer, respectively.  Current WSU Film student Brandi Perrine will act as Production Designer and Post-Production Supervisor, and real life brothers Clint and Chaney Morrow will take on the roles of Remy and Josh.  
The film is being independently produced, and the production team is currently engaged in fundraising to secure the production budget of $5,500.  The largest part of the fundraising effort is a crowdfunding campaign through Indiegogo where supporters can donate as little as $1 for the film in exchange for incentives.  The campaign ends Monday, July 22. The team is also accepting in-kind donations and sponsorships. 
Filming is scheduled for August in Dayton, Ohio.  Forquer hopes to have the film finished in time to submit to local and national film festivals.
