[NEohioPAL] Near West Theatre's Tech Workshop

Ages 14 (entering high school) -21

Participants will:
*learn the basic principles of stagecraft, including set & properties construction, scenic painting and lighting
*learn the safe operation of various hand and power tools as they relate to theatre tech
*help construct the set for the Near West's summer production of Side Show
*join the production crew for one or more productions between now and June 2013 in any one of a variety of jobs (including set crew, spotlight operator, props crew, costume crew, or sound technician)

Sessions run:
June 10th to July 17th
Monday & Wednesday
10:00 am to 4:00 pm
(This program is designed to allow flexibility of participation.)

Location:
Near West Theatre
3606 Bridge Avenue, 3rd Floor
Cleveland
(West 38th Street and Bridge Avenue in Ohio City)

Participants must apply for the work sessions
by Friday, June 7, 2013
