 OPA SUMMER THEATER CAMPS Youth Camp · Lions and Tigers and KIDS! Songs of
the Jungle

Youth camps are designed for kids entering 1st - 6th grades in the fall.
This weeklong camp, Monday, July 8, - Friday, July 12, will culminate with
a Friday, 7pm showcase performance. It will include excerpts from "Lion
King", "Jungle Book", "Tarzan" and more! The camp days, 9-3 daily, will
involve multiple sessions: Acting, Singing, and Dancing, developing each
camper's overall Musical Theatre skills. Their experience will also be
enriched by a Theatre History session, as they learn about the background

Teen Camp · My Favorite Things: Rodgers & Hammerstein's Broadway

Teen camps are designed for kids entering 7th - 12th grades in the fall.
This weeklong camp, Monday, July 22, - Friday, July 26, will culminate with
a Friday, 7pm showcase performance. It will include excerpts from "Sound of
Music", "Oklahoma!", and more! The camp days, 9-3 daily, will involve
multiple sessions: Acting, Singing, and Dancing, developing each camper's
overall Musical Theatre skills. Their experience will also be enriched by a
Theatre History session, as they learn about the background behind the

General Camp Information

   1. Pre-care and After-care is available, 8am drop-off, and 6-7pm
   pick-up, for an additional $20/day, $100/week
   2. Youth camp participants will have an assigned "counselor", and be
   grouped together with a ratio of no more than 15:1.
   3. Cost for camp is $275 for 1st child, and $248 (10% discount) for each
   after that.
   4. Our guest director is Michael C. Mazur, who has an MFA from NYU.
   5. T-shirt will be provided, which will be part of the costume for the
   showcase.
   6. Lunch will not be provided, but our concession stand will be stocked
   with healthy, kid-friendly choices.
   7. Registrations (camp form, waiver, and check) are due JULY 1st. To

OPA SUMMER DANCE CAMPS Tinkerbell Dance Camp

August 5-9. 3-4 yrs from 10:00 AM-11:00 AM; 5-6 yrs from 11:00AM-12:00 PM.
Explore Neverland through movement activities and games, ballet,
stretching, and choreography! Includes a t-shirt, fairy wand, and a ticket

OPA SUMMER GYMNASTICS CAMPS

Flexible scheduling options allow you to

weeks, a single week or one day at a time. Each 3-hour themed
camp combines gymnastics, physical activity, and games with arts and
crafts, and special events. Gymnastics summer camps run June 24 - August
17th.

OPA SUMMER SAMPLER CAMPS

Expose your child to everything OPA has to offer. Each day the children
will be immersed in activities such as dance, theatre, music, gymnastics,
art and outdoor play.

KIDnections GROUP CAMPS

The KIDnections Group offers adapted recreational activities for children
with autism and similar developmental disabilities.

www.thekidnectionsgroup.com. Registration ends one week prior to the start
of each class. Payment options include PayPal, Cuyahoga County Family
Resource Dollars, and Lorain County Family Resource Dollars. Contact

Music & Movement

For the child who enjoys music and likes to move, this class provides an
outlet for energy and emphasizes sequencing, stretching, and movement while
touching upon the concept of rhythm. Building on the skills learned each
week, this class is a great vehicle for exploring body awareness and shared
space while incorporating a multitude of social concepts and conventions.
For children ages five to seven.

Dates: Wednesdays, July 10th, 17th, 24th, & 31st
Time: 4-5:15
Cost: $125 per child
Camp Connections

A traditional summer-long camp condensed into three fun mornings of
different activities each week. Get messy, play outside, make cool
concoctions, prepare fun recipes, and get into your summer groove! We will
provide your child with activities to address a range of important skills
while engaging them in meaningful social interaction with their peers.

Dates: Saturday, July 13th, 20th, & 27th
Time: 9-11:30
Cost: $200 per child
Materials Fee: $25 per child
