Seeking a male singing actor able to play 48 years old for the Maltby &
Shire Musical, "Baby".

The Broadview Heights Spotlights Theater will be producing *Baby, *a
musical written by Sybille Pearson, David Shire, and Richard Maltby, Jr.
which ran on Broadway in 1983 & 1984 and received seven Tony nominations. The
show focuses on the relationships of three different couples at different
stages in life having a child. Directed by Ryan Bergeron, the Spotlights
production will run September 13-28, with rehearsals beginning in late July.

The production has been cast with a fantastic team of principal actors,
however we are still seeking an actor for the role of Alan McNally - a 48
year old college administrator facing the prospect of having another child
with his wife Arlene - just as the last of their grown children is leaving
the nest.
This is one of 6 principal roles. Alan is a (lyric) baritone or tenor who
sings from B2-F4. This is a wonderful, gently humorous, complex role with
several pivotal scenes and beautiful music to sing.

Auditions will be held immediately, based on actors availability. Please
email the Director, Ryan Bergeron, at rfb252 at gmail.com to set up an
audition appointment or for more information regarding the show.
