[NEohioPAL] Summer Acting, Vocal & dance classes begin THIS week at Arlene Cassara Dance & Theater Center

Arlene Cassra Dance & Theater Center 6-Week Summer program: Classes being offered include: Ballet, Pointe, Dance Intro, Tap, Hip-Hop, Stretch & Flex, Broadway Jazz, Acting and Vocal Workshops for Ages 3 1/2 thru and including ADULT.
The HIP-HOP class will be taught by alumni student and CAVS Girl, Miss Ginny Shroka.  DANCE INTRO is available for the new students (ages 3 1/2 - 6 yrs. old) and will be taught by alumni student, Miss Sarah Menser.
ACTINGwill be directed by one of Cleveland’s finest director/actor, Mr. Patrick Ciamacco. This course is designed to provide an introduction into the basics of stage acting.  The students will gain basic skills in acting, auditioning, analyzing, improvisation, teamwork, visualization, breathing, and relaxation as well as a working vocabulary of theatre terms.  Recognizing that the dynamic field of theatre is a useful tool for communicating in any arena, this course also serves as an excellent opportunity for students to sharpen their public speaking skills.  Patrick Ciamacco is an award nominated and award winning actor and director with  18 years of theatre experience, having performed in well over 100 productions while directing and producing many more.
The two VOCAL WORKSHOPS will be conducted by Ms. Kathleen Madden-Caldwell. Along with being a trained voice instructor, Kathleen is well known through out Cleveland as both an actress and director. Workshops will be offered on June 26th and July 3rd. You may sign up for one or both. Each workshop will consist of audition preparation and vocal coaching.
BROADWAY JAZZ & TAP will be taught by Cleveland choreographer and studio asst. director, Miss Nicci Cassara. BROADWAY JAZZ is perfect for those wanting to strengthen their dance training for musical theater and the stage. TAP is for those with previous tap training (must be fluent in Time Steps). A combination of rhythm, broadway and classic tap will be taught duing the 6 weeks.
STRETCH & FLEX, one of our most popular classes, will be returning this summer and tauht by Ms. Lori Shannon. Also, BALLET & POINTE will be available for students wanting to continue their training through the summer months.
