*Art+Practice* (www.art-practice.com) - a film and media production company
based in Oberlin, Ohio - is casting for two MALE roles. Both *MUST SPEAK
NATIVE JAPANESE*. Previous acting experience not necessary.

The film, titled *AMERIKA: a notebook in three parts*, is a remake of
Kafka's *AMERIKA*, only this time starring a young Japanese woman who
leaves her life as a hostess in Tokyo to search for her father in a America
that is in serious decline;  along the way, the heroine encounters
fascinating characters and ultimately finds herself responsible for a
change that will matter to all.

Role #1: *Grandfather *
Must be 65 to 85 years old and speak NATIVE JAPANESE. As the main
character's grandfather, this character is similar to the grandfather
figure in "Taste of Tea" (Cha no Aji) - He is wise and compassionate.

Role#2: *Office Clerk in Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building*
Must be 45 to 65 year old and speak NATIVE JAPANESE.
