            The Little Theatre of Tuscarawas County presents its final show
of the season, Urinetown. Under the direction of Chad Roberts, the
three-time Tony award winning production pokes fun at the legal system,
capitalism, social irresponsibility, bureaucracy, corporate mismanagement
and municipal politics. The hilarious musical also parodies musicals such
as The Cradle Will Rock, Les Miserables and Broadway musicals in general.***

            The story opens in a grim Gotham-like city of the future, where
a 20-year drought has occurred. As a result, the Government has banned
private toilets, so the citizens must literally “pay to pee”, using toilets
regulated by a monopolistic company, the Urine Good Company, which charges
exorbitant prices. Bobby Strong, the assistant custodian of the poorest
urinal in town, decides enough is enough. With the help of the daughter of
the CEO of the Urine Good Company, Hope Cladwell, Bobby ends up leading a
rebellion that frees the citizens.****

McQueen, Nathan McCutcheon; Dr. Billeaux, Steve Long; Officer Barrel, Ben
Bolden; Robbie The Stockfish, Zachary Brinkman; Mrs. Millennium, Brenda
Schreffler and the ensemble, including: Farrah Darr, Maddie Dummermuth,
Chloe Hanenkrat, Laurel Horn, Frank Huff, Renee Shreffler and Josie Waugh.**

            Along with director Roberts, who also designed the set and
lights, the staff includes: music director, Andy Potts; assistant director,
Pat Potter; producer and stage manager, Pam Douglas; choreographer, Allison
Morris; costumes, Alex Allesandri-Bruce and Dee Leidein; props/set
dressing, Jane Deitrick; hair and make-up Debi DeVore and publicity, Lee
Elliott.****

            Production dates are June 28,29,30, and July 5,6,7,12 and 13. June
30 and July 7 are matinees which begin at 2:30 p.m. Curtain for all other
