Summer is almost halfway over!  Have you done anything special for yourself yet? Why not get back in the classroom and have fun at the same time?  These five-week mini-sessions were specifically designed for the adult schedule and pocketbook. Come and play!  It’s not just for kids!

Shakespeare In Your Pocket

Mon, July 15 - Mon, August 12 from 6:30-8:30pm

Instructor: Hart, Dana
Ages:  18 and up

Master short Shakespeare pieces for audition, competition or pleasure – learn to act these great characters and great moments. You will be working on performing Shakespeare by learning the text of short character monologues. No longer than 25-35 lines, these character pieces will teach you all the major tools you need to take on any Shakespeare text.

Thu, July 25 - Thu, August 22 from 7:00-8:30pm

Instructor: Patterson, Aaron
Ages:  18 and up

Led by Something Dada Improvisational Troupe's Aaron Patterson, actors explore improv games and team competition while honing their basic improvisational skills. The class will conclude in its own mini-Olympics style contest on the last day. Students may sign up for all five sessions at $75 or join for a single session at $20 each. Single session tickets are available at Customer Services prior to class.
