What to Prepare: 

·        
2 - 50’s to
60’s “Rock” style songs not from the show. 1 ballad /1 up-tempo.  32 bars of each.  

·        
Bring sheet
music in your key. An accompanist will be provided. No acapella or pre-recorded
music. Must hear you sing with accompanist.

·        
Wear
comfortable clothing to learn choreography.  No costumes, make-up or drag.

·        
Bring a resume and
headshot if you have them.

 

Roles:

 

Narrator:  Speaking Part

 

Frank N. Furter:  A transvestite from the
plant Transsexual in the galaxy of Transylvania – (Baritone) - low A to High G

 

Brad Majors:  20-30’s.  Youthful, handsome and wholesome. (Tenor) - low C to high G

 

Janet Weiss:  20-30’s.  Brad's fiancée.  Very youthful, pretty and wholesome.  (Alto) - low G to high E

 

Riff Raff:  25-45.
A creepy henchman and eccentric butler of Dr. Frank N. Furter. (Tenor) - low C to high C

 

Magenta:  25-35.  A very strange sexy servant of Dr. Frank N.
Furter. (Alto) - low G
to high E

 

Columbia:  20s.
One of Dr. Frank N. Furter’s waifish misfit servants.  (Alto) - low G to high E

 

Rocky Horror:  20s. The result of one
of the Dr's experiments: "the perfect muscular man". (Tenor) - low E to high G

 

Eddie:  30-45.
One of the Dr’s unsuccessful experiments. 
Rock’n’ Roller.  (Tenor) -  low C to high C

 

Dr. Scott:  An
older gentleman/German accent.  A strong
character actor, any size.  (Baritone) -  low A to high E 

 

Phantoms:  Singer/actors/dancers
of all ethnicities, and a wide range of body types. (Various vocal ranges)
