                                   Victorian Players to Audition
                                               New Poe Play


     The Victorian Players and J&B Production Arts Services have announced auditions for their annual Halloween production at the Vic.  Edgar Allan Poe’s: The Facts in the Case of M. Valdemar will open October 11 and run three weekends through October 27.

     Auditions will be held on Monday and Tuesday, August 5th and 6th at 7pm at the theater at 702 Mahoning Avenue in Youngstown.  Casting requirements call for 5 men ages 20 to 60 and 1 to 2 women ages 20 to 60.  Rehearsals will begin toward the end of August.

     The Facts in the Case of M. Valdemar is a lesser known Poe story which deals with the hypnotism of a man near death in an attempt to suspend him between life and death.  The movie in the 1960s starred Basil Rathbone and Vincent Price.
